It has been an eventful week in the Petrini household as quite a bit was accomplished in a short time.   The old kitchen was quickly demolished and the framing for the new one began in earnest.  The sliding glass doors have been removed to make way for our new door and window and the peninsula for the new kitchen cabinets was framed.  Joey described the work week as "very organized and efficient".  He appreciated how clean the workspace was kept.

We have also adjusted (somewhat) to living with a make-shift kitchen.    Torin described it as a "challenging" week as he adjusted to the using a toaster oven, paper plates, and a large selection of frozen foods and take-out.   The only member of our family who had a stressful week was Cashew, our dog.    From the moment we started packing the kitchen cupboards, she became very nervous.   It only got worse when her dish was moved, strangers arrived in the house, and her back door disappeared!
