After a weekend of emptying kitchen cabinets and packing boxes, we met Doug from Bill Howe Plumbing on Monday morning. Doug capped the water lines in the kitchen in preparation of demolition day.  We were ready to start.

Bright and early on Tuesday morning, the work began.  Chris Uribe from Wardell Builders along with Foreman George and Robert from Titan Excavating were at our door at 7:00 am.   By the time they left today, the cabinets were removed along with the drywall and old appliances.   If only the new kitchen could be installed as quickly as the old one was demolished.

Chris provided us with the Project Calendar with a completion date of October 6th.  With a little luck, perhaps it will be completed on my birthday, October 5th.   That will be a birthday present hard to top!

We are all excited about our new kitchen and thankful to each and every sponsor.
